Well, he IS an IM with a genuine rating of 2500 at one time. He's my tip for the 2006 tournament.
BTW, it's Hebert.
Now if he can just round up a few more of his IM buddies...

Clearly I wasn't talking about correspondence chess.
Brilliant work spotting the typo, though. I will edit it immediately.
As for the typo I was only following in tradition.
Originally posted by dottewellI know I can get to Fischer in 2 steps. Is it possible to get to Kasparov from Fischer in 4 more? I'd presume you could, and would be nice to know.
You could invent a new game - six steps to Garry Kasparov.
Kasparov
lost to
David Tebb
lost to
_______
etc.
down to
Freddie2006.
Thank you for kind words.
I do have a problem with internet chess. I still have to re-set true boards to analyze complex positions.
I do like the chess game type though. Can slow down to be careful. However, I had a 1400 player point out that I missed a free capture and I had to agree just today. I got caught up in playing too quick with many games needing moves and players making moves too.
I shall try hard though.
