Yeah, my Chessmaster on my mobile is pathetic as well, playing like a 800 rated player even at the highest setting. I've read that it plays a much better game if the phone has a faster processor and more memory. Unfortunately, when looking for phones to buy those specs aren't listed.

Yeh, i spank it every time too. My phone simply doesn't have enough memory for it to find anything decent. It's annoying that you can't set it to use a couple of minutes on each move. It just throws moves out after 2-5 seconds of 'thought' which is just pointless really...
