Magnus Carlsen should have knocked him out in the semifinal... He shouldn't have played the Tal Memorial and Blitz World Championship right before the World Cup. Ah well, his time will come.

missed that completely, but I was also talking in general, I mean Wijk aan zee and world cup matches ( topa-kramnik) get lots of attention here but around other tourneys its awfully quiet here.

I am convinced it is part of his dad's strategy. To play lots of tournaments before he is too old to get a burn out. He has the n°1 capabilities, and he should go for no less. Thumbs up from me!

It is nice to have Kamsky in a big chess match...At least we will probably see some interesting openings...he likes to go in newer lines...
