I believe it is against Ivanchuk's rules to move an unprotected queen next to the opponent's queen. Sappho is not found in this variant.

The rules were quite vague, in the end when things in the rules became somewhat clear, he "revealed" that the normal chess on a 8x8 board is about as good as it can get. :-)
