Ravello, what SirLostABit is saying is we can't talk about a game in progress.

Nice new avatar I must say!

I wanted to speak about this sacrifice in a general way,not commenting my gameGame 424993.
However I lost and my opponent gave me a lesson; in regard to my avatar I have to say that's not original but Ravello it's also a horse which gave me quite good money amount by gambling on him, so what better than the rhp knight?I love that horse!

Hi Ravello,

A nice game.
You exchanged a Knight + Bishop for a Rook + Pawn. From the viewpoint of material value it was an equal deal. But as usual it is all depends of the situation at the moment of exchange. It was not such a good moment. After the exchange you had lost 2 of your developed pieces, while white had not lost much in that respect. That is usually not good at the end of the opening phase.
If you do such a thing you should develop as fast as you can your other pieces. 11. ......a5 was very frivolous of you; you could have smelt the troubles that were boiling up on your king side. After the move 12.e4 all your alarms should have started. He was ready for attack! 12…...h6 was needed.
His Knight offer was to expect but still very nice. Refusing the offer would have lost too. Your Queen move was a blunder and finished the game in three. f6 would have lengthened the game.

You're totally right.
I think I messed all with that 11.a5, maybe with h3 I avoided some troubles, maybe I was a little drunk or not thinking at all:for me it's a trouble to mantain concentration on my games.
That's why sometimes I make senseless moves or mess apparently easy games.
Thanks for your reply regards,Ravello
