In the current (September 2003, page 22) Chess Life, GM Robert Byrne mentions a Kramnik-Beliavsky Dutch Defense game, in which Kramnik 'sacrificed a knight right in the opening and won explosively' with checkmate.
It sounds interesting. I can't find this game on the internet, although there are plenty of other games with these players. Can anyone help me out with a listing of the game?
Chuck
This may be it. It is a KIA that transposes to a Dutch which is probably why it's hard to find. The problem is that it's explosive but definitely no mate my friend.
