I just signed up for the National Open u1800 section (and the simul with GM Petrosian). I played in it last year too and enjoyed the experience immensely despite not winning any prizes except the roll-up board. If you're planning on going too, good luck! Who knows, maybe a RHP member will even win big. *ahem* 😛
If you don't know what I'm talking about, read up here: National Open. This tournament is for all levels of players so don't think you have to be amazing to have fun and compete for prizes. In fact, even the u1600 section is $5000 for first place.

I will see you there, live in Vegas and will play in under 2000 section
Maybe a secret hand shake as well or cryptic greeting questions like the Mason's use.
When playing someone new OTB, ask, "Are you playing red?" If the answer is "Huh?", not a fellow member. If the answer is, "Only my pawn," then you offer the secret handshake.
