I played this game against my 11 year old cousin, rated around 1600 OTB. He plays black, but I do not think he plays at 1600 level here. Can you have a quick look at this game? I started with intention to play Colle system but he surprised me with his second move. Did I make any obvious opening mistake?
P.S. I won this one, but since he is working with IM I think he will start to slaughter me soon 🙂

I prefer 8.f4 or 8.Ndf3 instead of 8.Nef3, which just loses time (the piece just moved to e5 two moves ago!)
You called Black's 2nd move a surprise, but the reality is, Black can play a number of things against the Colle, because it's slow for White compared to other, more aggressive, openings.
25...Rd8? lost a pawn, and 29...Qd6?? missed the threat to f7. The game is practically over after that move.
