Look at the pretty pictures!

I bumped into this site: http://turbulence.org/spotlight/thinking/index.html

It supposedly lets you see the computer thinking about its next moves. It seems to understand the rules of chess, but auto-promotes to a queen. The lines are supposed to mean something, but I couldn't figure it out. In the end I found myself just enjoying the pretty pictures and saying checkmate.

Very true. I didn't have any trouble getting to a winning KRP vs K endgame.

Yay I beat it!

Pretty colours, but that didn't help its chess 😀

This was the final position of my game against TM4.

It looks nice, but I can't take pieces, which makes playing pretty meaningless. I guess it doesn't like Opera. I haven't tried it in IE yet.
