Money is made of paper, so even though money doesn't grow on trees, it does come from trees.

Actually, I think current US currency is made out of a sort of cloth weave. Maybe it's part paper though.

I once gave a free chess lesson to someone, and after the session he complained that he hadn't got his money's worth! (Okay, that didn't really happen, but if you ever saw me play chess, you'd appreciate the sentiment!)
