Match Games

Hey everyone. I was wondering if any would be interested in playing a match with me? 1 / 7 time controls, and first to 6 pts. Anyone?

One game at a time or what? I'd play but I already have two games going, is that ok?

Yeah, it would be one game at a time. But, unfortunately, I'm full up again. I was a bit premature in my posting. If you like, I will challenge you to a game when I have a spot.

That would be a cool feature here at RHP. Set up your own matches with an opponent of your choosing or found in open invites.

Oh yeah, I always enjoyed matches more than tournaments. The battle between two people that may last for several weeks. Something very attractive about that. Back in the day, the Greats would play matches for their livelihood. You rarely see it from GMs anymore. Unless I'm looking in the wrong places. I know there are Candidates Matches and what not, but isn't that pretty much it? It seems to be a lost practice. And, you are right, RHP could be at the forefront of bringing match play back.
