Hi folks,

I have played Niculae several games, and I dodged a flurry of bullets and won all them except this one- and this is the best game of our series.

Niculae says he plays for the poetry, and while many want to talk about poetic moves, this guy "walks the talk" as we say in the States. He has played several beautiful moves against me, and I have fended most of them off, but when he plays 31. Qxd2, it occurred to me that I had bitten off more than I could chew, and he follows up impeccably to end the game in a very efficient manner. To a certain extent, I think I practically helpmated myself by being uncharacteristically greedy in taking the exchange, but the subsequent idea was pretty to see, even as I realized I was going down for the count. Here's the deed:
