Part four of Silman's book. Just starting reading about the bishop again on Tuesday.
Played a few blitz games and this one is a pretty good example. I see I misplayed the opening, memory loss after that year off. 4...d5 and then 5...b5, no wonder the opening looked so strange.
Create an imbalance and nurture it. First my bishop pair and then my superior bishop over his knights. I had the bishop so I had to open up the center. Rememeber in bishops of opposite color, the attacking bishop cannot be challenged.
Nice Mate combo at the end. And Yes, I suck at blitz and rarely play. Heck, I even tried out the french 😛
