    I think they thought you were suggesting one of those 4 moves, rather than a sequence of moves...

    you think. Perhaps they are used to simply thinking in terms of one move sequences, hard to explain it in any other terms. The counter intuitive Na3 (not blocking the bishop), Ne5 and Bf4 look good to me
