Morphy's Missed Mate

GP has already showed this in his blog but I don't think he covered this line. Morphy missed TWO mates!!!!!! 😲

I remember Yasser Seirawan going over this game in his book Winning Chess Tactics . His explanation for the missed mates was "Morphy got lazy".

As a challenge- and league-playing member of The Morphy's Maniacs Clan, I can say that missing mates is a tradition that we still honor, every day!
