Technical question: who really understands these pesky FEN diagram things? I have no problem including one FEN diagram in a post, but as soon as I try to include a second in the same post, everything seems to go haywire (hence my splitting my last contribution into two posts). Can anyone be so kind as to explain what I might be doing wrong?

As far as I know you can only include one diagram. You are doing nothing wrong, it is just not possible.

Thanks a lot guys for the comments, especially you Northern Lad .. I'm not sure I agree with your traxler analysis (or was it someone else who called it winning for white...) but everything you said about the Muzio sounds pretty good.

Thanks again.

You can only post one I am afraid. 🙁

My pleasure, I enjoyed doing the analysis - the Muzio certainly is fun. A propos the Traxler, I don't think I said it was winning for white, but I do believe it is definitely good for white, which in a way is rather a shame!

Thanks for the helpful comments on the FEN diagrams. For some reason I thought I'd seen posts with more than one FEN diagram, but I was obviously mistaken!
