move 24 is indeterminate (should be Rhg1)

moves 34,36,37 and 40 are also ambiguous and you can't tell what they should be from later moves.

something still seems a bit off (aside from move 24 which makes the pgn corrupt) but according to this version white can play 36.Rxg2 getting a free rook. if the rook isn't on g2 but h2? then 36.Rg6 is mate.

30...Rf1 seems premature 30...Kh5 looks better

I also don't get why black never plays Qh4+ forcing the king to f1.
black fails to castle early and develop his queenside

ok move 24 was meant to be 24. Rh-g1. aside from that, black tried to give up his rook to stop me mating him, if he hadn't offered the rook i would have mated him, and i didn't take it because i thought i could checkmate him anyway, and i would rather not take the rook and trust myself. it might have been easier to take the rook and go from there but i would deny it again if i met the same position,

taking the rook WAS the mate anyway. why would you not take it? taking the rook still threatened the same mate in 1 with no defense other than to sac the other rook whi you also take with a mate in 1 threat with no way to stop it. that like giving backrank mate and not taking it when the other guy interposes his rook.

I know most people would have taken it, but i always see GM games where they ignore easy takes and go for the checkmate anyway, so i did, i know it was wrong, but i was confident enough to win how i liked
