This discussion is really making me feel alot better about what my actual rating would be. I never play OTB (didn't even know what that meant until a couple of months ago). I've been playing chess for about a year (started over a year ago, but quit playing for about 6 months).
My Standard rating a FICS is about 1300 and Blitz is about 900-1000. I may actually be good enough to actually achieve a rating!
I was told that internet chess sites' ratings are very inflated, if so my blitz rating would be so low that I wouldn't even be a Class E player.
