No. I'm not really black.

I prefer going second. It is more enjoyable for me. Don't ask why, I don't know. I haven't gone first in a game on RHP ever. My rating, as you can see, isn't that hot. I admit, at best, my skill borders mediocrity.

I ask:

How much advantage does your opponent really have by going first???

At around your rating, 1100 or so, not much. The game will be decided by a silly error when someone hangs a piece or something, and that's color independent.

It's important at a higher level but for the likes of you and me the "advantage" of playing white is so small as to be insignificant in comparison to the far more radical weaknesses created by our own inaccurate play - as noted in the above post.

As you like to play black it suggests you may be more reactive than proactive. You like to see what your opponent wants to do then respond to that....adopting a more defensive strategy. This is only pop psychology so don't set to much store by it.....but you could work on the attacking side of your game just in case!
