Upon further research, 7. ... Nxe4 may be the real lemon. (Natural moves always seem to be. 🙂 ) 9. Nbd2 Bf5 (f5 Buecker) has been played. Also 7. ... Nxd5 was suggested but untested by Euwe
Last, but not least, 7. ...Re8 seems to be best. (7. ... c6 untested)
