Nope, but I have of course enough reading material for two or three lifetimes. Still, I am very much in favour of supporting the book producing industry.

Hehe...me too. I suggest you work through "It's your move" next as it is quite easily digestable and one that you should be able to complete.(presuming this is the book by Chris Ward with each position presented as a question followed by a range of possible answers for you to pick from).

I've always wanted to get my hands on the last edition of Bilguer's Handbuch. Carl Schlechter prepared the eighth and final edition. Published between 1912 and 1916, it totaled just over 1000 pages and included contributions by Rudolf Spielmann, Siegbert Tarrasch, and Richard Teichmann.
Wonder why no one has ever thought to reprint it, it's supposed to be a great reference.

I asked some trees in my back yard about this, and they all told me that any tree would gladly give up its life for the noble goal of getting chess books into the hands of chess lovers.

I've never even seen a copy of Chess Curiosities offered on the used book market. Either I've been very unlucky in my search, or this book is extremely rare. At least we have Tim's web site. 🙂
