I like to think this was a sound combination, but I'm slightly unconvinced. Was there anything black could have played (esp on move 29) to stop me?

Whoops. looked at the position after black played ...Rd7 and looked at it like it was still blacks move so this doesn't work.. i'll look a little longer.

After another look 29...Rh8 seems to be sufficient.

30.Kh1+ Kf8 31.Qg6 Qe7 32.Nxd6 and Black's position still sucks, although this is a better try than in the game.
