😏 Where did black go wrong?

i would have thought black went wrong from the start - i would never copy my opponent with an opening - well, certainly not for so many moves anyway!

other then that the first piece taken was blacks fundamental mistake as it drastically weakened his defence. after that he gave his bishop away and it was a one way ticket from there m8y 😛

I'd say in a quite ( or so he thought!😏) system like this it's perfectly acceptable to copy your opponent. The Symmetrical english is a perfect example!

by the way, did white resign? (and if so, why?) because he could still have done something horrible to black..*bored, so i took another look at the game😛*

NO! Black resigned! I crushed him....I was just trying to get some people on a huge analysis session so I could see where black went wrong!

woops i meant black of course :-0. still, he should have played on a few more moves 😉

Black's 12...gxf5 opened up his kingside, and that was the main mistake.
Then, 21...Bxf5, he lost material, and it went downhill from that.
