Aron Nimzovich's (or Nimzowitsch, as you prefer) book "Blockade" is once again in print. I'm currently reading "My System" and I'm wondering if there's anything in "Blockade" not covered by "My System" ?
Originally posted by Double IndemnityI just looked over your games, and I think Nimzowitsch's text's are much too advanced for you, you need to master the basics a little better, I can see alot of errors in your thinking, and I dont think My System, Chess Praxis, or Die Blockade holds the key, I would recommend getting, the entire winning chess series:

Read them in this order:
1. W ...[text shortened]... penings
3. Winning Chess Tactics
4. Winning Chess Strategy
5. Winning Chess Combinations

From Nimzovichs books I prefer "My system" and "My system in practics".
But I must warn all trustful readersl - some of his ideas are not so good.
