I don't believe I've ever played a game to a conclusion with no pawns taken until this game. I know I misplayed as black to be fighting off a very cramped position. I usually prefer open games, but one move led to another.

The point is the position is totally blocked. Does it really matter that the knight has such a strong outpost? What can it do with it?

i won a game without taking a single opponents piece, sacd a bishop for a mate if i can remember..

there is an easier way.

1.copy game id
2.at the bottom of the page when you are posting there is a link that say insert link to a game click on this
3.paste game id
4.click post button

knight outposts are basically the whole point of a totally blocked position because the opponent has a hard time doing anything if a knight is controling all of his squares. (except of course opening lines for you pieces)

I went over it before I offered the draw, and the knight positions for both sides look much stronger than they are. The kings and the rooks pretty much hold everything together in every line I could find.
