What are sieges?

Should I join a tournament?

Sieges are something you queue up for for months and then lose, getting knocked out.

There are no tournaments available at the moment.

A tournament is a good idea.
Entering a clan is also a good idea.

A not so good idea is to start too many games at the same time. I did and lost a lot due to the heavy game load.

everybody does that when they join. 🙂 it always starts well, you think it's a breeze to play dozens of games simultaneously. then you get over the opening moves and start getting into trouble. add a random thing in real life that requires your time/energy and voilà, it's a meltdown.

What are you talking about? Click on "tournaments" then "Open tournaments". There are 12 Open tournaments listed.

Yes. That's what mine was. Mastercard.

I'm already having more fun on the site. I made just a few more than the 6 and I have games waiting all the time. I did figure out that I'm going to have to stop doing the 3/0 and go with 3/7 now.
