LOL, I am having my games batch analysed as we speak, a very kind gentleman has
offered to do it, ahhh, the poor chap, the horror of those games, thankfully hes only
interested in the figures, not the aesthetics, now if we could only get Ron to take the
    test!

P.S. How do you make that board with your game appear on your

Great story! Thank you for sharing. After hitting the 1500 - 1600 (RHP rating) range I have been stuck at ceiling. This is where I've quit getting better just by playing a lot and applying basic principles.

I've realized for a while now that I'm not going to get better unless I buckle down, study and practice tactics. I really want to get better but I've lacked the discipline to do what it takes with any consistency. So it's really on me at this point 🙂

Does anyone know any good tactics apps for an iPhone 4 that aren't too difficult for a 1500-1600 player?

Sorry, I don't use the iphone. If you don't want to by a good book,
you might want to try some of the chess sites on web such as
