Anyone know of any online chess games that are rendered in 3-d so that you can play and it simulates how an OTB game would look?

i don't care what they say about 3-d.....it never looks like a real set.....when i watched Kasparov play deep blue..(the games where he wore 3d glasses of some sort.....I think it was deep blue...anyways)

It didn't look right...I couldn't do it.....but then again....i'm no Kasparov.....

Best bet....set up a set.

3D boards are nothing like the real thing on comp as they are on at home set it up at home. a decent plastic set board is 10 bucks online.

playchess.com you can select a 3d board. However like the others in this thread said, It's crap. You really don't see dept on a screen. I prefer 2D because your overview is much better. Or else just set it up next to your PC.

It's never 3D on a screen. It at most simulated 3D.

When you move the head right and left, the picture is still. It's never still in genuine 3D. It's imossible on a flat screen.

I prefer good 2D over simulated 3D. The brain is not so easily fooled.
