Just would like anybodys opinion who has got this book.

And is there a better fully illustrated book out there for the beginner.
    Many Thanks.

Starting Out in Chess by Byron Jacobs gets good reviews on the Amazon.com website. One of the reviews is by the Midwest
Book Review, which is a reputable reviewer.

I've also found all of John Nunn's books to be excellent, at least for me.

Gary's Adventures in Chess Country is worth investigating imo.
