organising a tournament

Can I start a tournament, there are rarely any for people of my rating (1350-1450), or do I need to join a clan or group?

I think you have to be a clan leader to start a tourney within your own clan. Check out the clubs here at RHP as several of them advertise 'So Many Tournaments Here, It Is Ridiculous!''''
