I doubt there's a winning line after the first error. If there is, it takes some finding. But you make the point yourself: keep open chances for your opponent to go wrong. That means not recapturing the N, but retaining your last pawn. The 'rule' of N endings is to play them as pawn endings. After blundering one pawn, you keep an outside chance of the win by retaining the other. There is still scope for your opponent to go wrong if you're up to the job. But if he finds the best defence, well good luck to him.
