Yeah,lechessclub could use some more advertising.But maybe they don't want that,I vaguely remember an issue last year,about trouble handling the amount of members.You see,it's not run by ICC,it is a club created by ICC users,all ICC did is give them their own channel.The mentors are all volunteers too,that's why it's free.

While we're on the subject.You might also want to check out the STC bunch.It stands for Slow Time Control.They are also present on FICS.They don't have lessons,but they do organise tournaments,even a big team event.And it generally makes it easier to find opponents for long games.They have their own channel too,channel 90,not sure if it's member restricted.

There's a similar thing on FICS called The Teaching Ladder. It seems less structured though. Just submit a game and any of the stronger players who have signed up to do so will review it. I don't know about ICC, but FICS doesn't care if you submit a game that was played on FICS, an OTB game or one played on another site. They just don't want blitz games.
