My question is: what happened to all very first moves in the game above?
@marekt saidI would think so yes. The pgn you put up came from a pre set board. That initial fen is how you show a pgn starting in the middle somewhere.

And - this is a simple example.
What to do if the thematic line contains - say - 10 moves for White and Black?
Shall PGN start with move no. 11?
