I played this opening in blitz games last night on yahoo and won all five games played. This is by no means proof that it's a good theory but I did notice that it was comfortable position and seems to provoke the opponent into attacking strongly, which usually lead to an overextension of the pawns, etc. I'm going to try it out at the local club tonight ...[text shortened]... moves of the center game out of the way and I then played Nc3 with a decent center structure.

I have a friend that won many blitz games (even against IMs and he is not even a FM) and even blitz tournaments with 1...f6 2...Kf7...
He is very strong in blitz.
Usually, opponents are trying disperately to find forced winning combinations and in this way they are loose precious seconds and sometimes they are even weakening thei pawn structures by trying to get as much space as ppossible...
Anyway, in long games he plays normal openings.
