Nice game! There were a number of wasteful moves though. I'd do an analysis if i had time but i've had a skin full. I suggest you use an engine to do a full analysis, it'll point out most of the best moves for free. 😉

For starters

12. Bc2 was a much better way to defend your e4 pawn as it allowed you to play d4 in the future.

14. Nfd2 was constricting to your position, and goes against the principle of developing pieces. I realize you were looking at c4, but Nbd2 does the same, develops a piece, and puts more pressure on black's e5 pawn since your f3 knight is still there.

15. Qf3 is rediculous. There queen does no good here, and only hinders your piece movement and is open to attack. Develop the other pieces first.

16. Qg3 at least this has the indirect threat of Bxh6, but the queen is in a horrible spot.

18... dxc4?? I think your opponent forgot what he was planning here. 17... Bc8! was a great move threatening Nh5 trapping your queen (another reason not to bring out the queen). But he misses the obvious trap here which wins the game. I don't know what to reccomend to you for your 18th to not allow this. h3 works, but is bad. Your real mistake was bringing the queen out and trapping it behind the knight.

19... Be6 after his second consecutive blunder, the game's over. You played out the finish relatively well, and there's no point in going into it.

If you want to view the analysis that I posted ^ up there properly then dl a program like arena and paste the PGN into it. (Arena is free).

Why 18...Bc4 Ark? Nh5 traps it already.

True, I didn't see that. I was just breifly analysing without computer assistance. The immediate Nh5 wins, but it's relatively complex.
