The KIA is a very solid way for a newer player to safely develop and castle early. It works very well against the early queen entry you see in a lot of lower level chess.

It's not very daring thou... I'll have to look into the ones you mentioned cms

Reti gambit isn't much of a gambit in terms of giving up material. The pawn is generally given back.

The Advanced Caro-Kann is about as daring as it gets against that lame response. 1.e4 c6 2.d4 d5 3.e5 Bf5 4.Nc3 e6 5.g4 Bg6 is probably seems to be the line I generally face.
