One of my few attempts at oil painting was based on one of the pictures at your first link. The pic in the upper left of

was in Sports Illustrated around 1980, give or take. I painted Carol Alt, and I conveniently forgot to include that snakeskin-pattern swimsuit she is wearing in the photo. 😛

FIDE should follow this example and replace all their ugly functioners - it will hardly become worse than it is from organisation point of view (it's difficult to do worse), but will earn much more public appreciation 😀
