Do not bother and try to look for quality in this game. There is none. But the ending, ah the ending. I wonder if I would find it I did not study checkamate puzzles yesterday. Ah , so sweet feeling to kill your queen for greater cause. 🙂)

I am glad he let you play it. It would have been irritating if had resigned rather than taking the queen.

Yeah, I am very happy that I've spot it. I do not know if the chance comes under rare circumstances or usually I just do not see it. But anyway, it is a pretty pleasant feeling to finish game this waay.

Just a quick opinion poll on this then relating to the when should you resign. Is it more polite when you see a mate in 1 or 2 moves to let the opponent get the mate rather than resigning?

An uneven duel made worse by an early blunder. But my opponent was sporting in not spoiling the finish with a resignation.

I suppose if the mate was interesting I would let them play it out.
