I can't help but show this, partly because I'm very excited by this game, and the fact that I played the winning side of a game I'm excited about kinda makes me a little proud... I've been putting in a lot of study time adhering to my speculative study plan as closely as possible and I think it is having very good results especially since I haven't been doing it for more than two months.
1. e4 e5 2. f4 exf4 3. Nf3 d5 {here we have the falkbeer counter gambit. I know only a few moves to this variation but I have thouroughly studied the plans for both sides in the KGA} 4. exd5 Nf6 {delaying the capture of the pawn for the knight to take it} 5. d4 {not much I can do about black taking the pawn without weakening my position so I ignore it} Nxd5 6. Bc4 {I saw that black can play 6...Qe7+ 7.Qe2 Qxe2+ 8.Kxe2 but I was fine with that position simply because now my king is closer to the center and the queens are off and I have an advantage in development and initiative so I judged there would be good endgame chances for me there} Nc6 7. O-O g5 {I think I have to give this a big ? Black doesn't have time to make weakening pawn moves he needs to get developed and try to get his king to safety} 8. Nc3 {I wanted this knight out of there and I give hime a little bait... I get doubled pawns but in this position that just means I have more open lines and better control of the center, where blacks king is} Nxc3 {takes the bait, it seems like a very natural move} 9. bxc3 Be7 10. g3 {this is commonly played when this pawn and piece placement occurs and it is played in the main line to the KGA} g4 11. Bxf4 {barely calculated anything here, I know this idea} gxf3 12. Qxf3 O-O 13. Bfh6 {I don't care about the rook here, its about taking control of the kings squares via open lines} Bh3 {after this move I started to look for a finisher, this is where I felt it had to be as all my pieces are in the action or threatening to do so... The idea that quickly struck me, as it reminded me of a different mating pattern, gave me growing excitement and chills. I felt it was proper payment for the thought I put into the previous moves... Caissa is rewarding me for my devotion} 14. Qxf7 {the pattern this reminds me of is the queen sack to pin black's rook so my rook can deliver a back rank mate but this has my bishop looking through my own piece instead of black's} Rxf7 15. Rfxf7 Kh8 16. Bg7 Kg8 17. Rxe7 {the end}

Thankyou. I wish I could have this same clarity of mind in all positions but I'm keeping my study specific to positions I will most likely see, which is based on my repertoire. It is encouraging to see the possibilities... May we all have many more enjoyable games worth posting.

There's a point in time when Chess becomes an Extreme Sport.
