I hit 2100 on that site which, going by my grade here, seems to suggest that starting on 1500 does make a difference. 😉
People there don't get banned for cheating...is that why their ratings are all so high?

its 1800 here....
but I've noticed that on both sites, i'm roughly in the same percentile (i.e number of players rated higher and lower than I)
so, to convert QA to RHP deduct around 300pts ---- which should be expected, seeing as they start at p1500, here its p1200 (diff=300)
Originally posted by ShinidokiAt queenalice you start as Unrated. Then roughly it goes like this: after first game you get p1100 for loss, p1300 for draw and p1500 for a win. You can also get p1100 for a draw with low rated player.

I am +200 at QA compared to RHP.
Originally posted by Marinkatombthe starting point doesn't matter much, the scaling of the actual rating change function is the real reason. CTS for example starts at 1500 as well, yet even strong grandmasters score only 1800-2000.
