Rating

My rating is now 1615 and i am am playing (for a long time) with someone who has 1056. Will my rating go down even if i win ? I would also like to know the formula to calculate rating when winning or drawing.

Once your rating is non-provisional, it never goes down if you win, you just won't gain many, if any points if you play a much lower rated player.
