relative ratings question

It seems to me that it's easier to have a higher rating than it used to be a year or so ago. I've been having an easier time w/ 1400+ players than I used to. I'm wondering if others who have been here a while have an opinion on this.

I can say in no uncertain terms that my rating is a fraud.

As is my personality for that matter.
