Reuben Fine, one of this country's greatest chess geniuses, a psychologist and the author of many books about chess and psychology, died last night at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Medical Center in Manhattan. He was 79 and lived in Manhattan. NYT Obituary

Are you sure? The NYT Obituary is dated March 27th 1993.
