    I had a thought as to why the Queen is so powerful...

    Perhaps it is because wherever she goes everyone fights with extreme vigor in order to protect the Queen. Even the villagers would rush to take up arms and protect the reigning monarch in fuedal times I would think?

    Why is the Queen so powerful I wonder?

    she kept nagging and nagging......after awhile we got tired of it and gave in...😞

    Now she is the most powerful piece.

    Don't know, but she was born in her current form in southern Europe in the late 1400's.
