Your hidden suggestion of 20.fxe5 would lead to QxRf1+, RxR, RxR#. Am I right?
Edit: Sorry, I'm wrong, because the black R is pinned.
I guess it might have worked.
Did you play whites?

18.Nxf7 Nxf7, and I don't think White has much.

Regarding your hidden suggestion, 20.fxe5 Qxe5 and White's on the defensive, having to deal with two nasty mating threats. 🙁

Here's one I just played in a 5 min game

Of course, black is not obligated ( and probably should not have) taken the second sacrifice, and perhaps 10.Bxe6 would work

Cool. I probably wouldn't think of two sacs in a row... I kinda too materialistic for that.

When you see your opponent play the opening so poorly, you know there's gotta be some sac! 🙂 Anything is possible in Blitz... In an OTB game, I would definitely be far more conservative with my sacrifices

Here is a relatively short 5 min game on FICS. I think 17...fxe5 was the main mistake by blacks. Someone plz let me know if I'm right.

16. Rh8+ cool, I didn't expect this. 🙂
I wonder if you could play 16. g6.

Did Black resign or did his time run out? I do not see how White would win from here?!

edit: 16. Bc4+ should win quite easily

The first sac was probably unsound but the rook sac at the end was sound. Too bad he didn't take the rook.

Here is another one of mine played on FICS. I think it was a 12 min + 5 sec game. It's probably just fool of blunders rather than sacs.

After just flicking through the moves I thought that the main blunder was 16.h6. Could you let me know if I'm right or wrong, plz?
