Howdy, my wife got me this chess clock for Christmas:

    http://www.mephisto.net/clock1.html

I was surprised to see that it evidently doesn't provide for allowing two different time standards for competitors. I.e., I'd like to play one of my kids and even the playing field by giving myself less time for moves.

Anyhow, I'm hoping that maybe I'm missing something and that such a thing is possible... anyone care to comment that has experience with this clock?

    Thanks in advance,
    Al

I used your link and skimmed the pdf manual, but I did not see anything about setting up separate time controls. It looks like the method for any adjustments you make automatically apply to both sides.

Yeah I was afraid that was the case. On the other hand it seems like a nice clock for the price otherwise. Thanks for the replies.
