(from an article I read)
This week it has been 50 years since Sergei Prokofjev died. On several occasions there have been threads comparing chess to science, to art, etc... Well, one thing is certain, chess and music are not incompatible.
Prokovjes was very proud to have beaten Capablanca while he was world champion, in a multisceance match in Saint petersburg 1914. Below a game he played against a (musical) rival in 1925. A wild game, just like his scythian suite.

Nice game - a bit complicated at one point - the bishop sacrifice and blacks response immediatly thereafter (the Re8 move) had me scratching my head. Also, I dont use this opening really (i usually wait a while before advancing the c file) so it was interesting to see .. (how white bulldozered through blacks defences)
bring us more!!
