Hi everyone,

Just looking for some input as to whether or not I should have offered a draw in this position? I did and then kind of regretted it...

So what do you think? Win, lose, or draw?

Cheers,

Rd5 on move 33 looks pretty crushing

draw. Maybe you could've played on 2 or 3 more moves, he might make a mistake, but so might you.
Some opportunities missed, but considering your rating and your opponent's I'd be happy with the outcome.

Cheers for the feedback guys.

schakuhr - I'm glad that you think I made the right decision based on the position and it's always good to know that a stronger player concurs.

chrspayn - I see what you mean about 33. rd5 and maybe if I'd thought about it a bit more I would have made that move but I think I was a little too obsessed with keeping my pawn chain together on the kingside. Probably a silly move as my queenside pawns might have advanced unopposed after I'd cleaned up on the queenside. Ah well, a lesson learned I guess
