I've just played this game on FICGS and find myself in a lost position.

I do not understand why I have lost it.

Where are my errors

Did you resign? You are only mid 1200s?

it seems to me to be a very even game Sophy, perhaps it was the passivity of the dark squared bishop in the end as opposed to the mobility of the white rooks, but it was very well played against a much higher rated opponent.

Well the end position looks prett drawish to me. The g pawn can't promote and the end position isn't mate... So she must have resigned, lost on time, or disconnected(?)*

*im not sure if you can get the pgn after a disconnection.

9...Ne5 is rather irregular. The normal continuations are 9...Bd7, 9...Nxd4, 9...Nd7, 9...Na5, 9...a5 and 9...a6. This is without looking at the game...

It transposed to one of the common 9...Bd7 lines anyway.

Yeap.

I am a man please.

I tought I was done for, as the g-pawn or the a pawn would promote.

Sure, this is a very tight game, and it is possible that my opponent used an engine or any thing. I have done it too, but not whitout looking twince at the game in order to add my brain. It seem I miss something. My engine say hxg5 is bad and send me h5. which in fact may be a good move. Just to verify my move. And see if my opponent may use one too.

This is correspondance chess.

To me this position doesn't look lost so it seems that you resigned a bit too soon.
