The tempo has nothing to do with how "easy" it is. And I don't think one opening is easier than another, maybe easier to learn the variations, but there's no such thing as an "easy" opening. Openings are different, but not harder or easier. For example, some openings are very sharp, some are more positional. Some openings are very theoretical and many line must be learnt to play them well, while others practically play themselves. Some openings take center control right away, while others let the opponent take it and then they fight for it later. Whichever opening you used should be based on preference and what feels right, not which you think is "easier".
